I would give a couple of cautions to parents: 1) wait until your child is 8 years old as Lionel recommends. Setting up an electric train set can be very frustrating to younger children. 2) Look at the HO scale first. If your kids played with the wooden or take-a-long Thomas they are use to playing with small toys. The HO scale Thomas train sets are a lot cheaper (an entire HO train set cost half as an O scale engine). If they tire of electric trains quickly, you're not out a lot of money. |
